Seiren, the Japanese comprehensive textile manufacturing company has announced opening a new factory in Pécs, Southern Hungary. The plant will produce eco-friendly car seat upholstery for the European market.
The investment amount is over EUR 42 million and the Hungarian government provides non-refundable subsidy for the realization of the project. In the first phase, there will be a 26,000 m2 large manufacturing area built and 170 new jobs will be created.

The CEO of Sudy & Co. congratulated Seiren representatives at the Embassy of Hungary in Tokyo after the announcement.
