Tadateru Mitani was born in 1984. After graduating from Keio University, he moved to the United States and worked in venture capital, starting 2 different companies in San Francisco, Silicon Valley. He became a board member of Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. in 2010, then moved back to Japan in 2012 and accepted the title of CEO of the company in 2017.
He has been an advisor of Sűdy & Co. Ltd. since June 2016.
Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. was founded in 1928 in Kanazawa, Japan. The company’s main business areas include information systems, chemicals, pharmaceutical ingredients, resin, electronics, air conditioning systems, and many more. As a trading company, Mitani Sangyo connects different fields and industries, and as a manufacturer, it also holds a number of design centers and bases in Japan and Vietnam. In recent years, Mitani Sangyo has been focusing on fostering venture companies and promoting sales in the Hokuriku area of Japan.
