Founder Dr. Zoltan Sudy has served for 25 years in the Foreign Ministry of Hungary, occupying such posts like Director General of the Asian/Pacific Dept, (1990-92), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Thailand and concurrently to Brunei, Laos and Myanmar (1992-95) and later to Japan (1995-1999), where he also spent a term of 4 years as a young diplomat in the late 1970’s.
In 1999 he chose to leave his diplomatic career in order to test himself in business.
He was nominated as a member of the 5 men „Wisemen Group” agreed upon by the Hungarian and Japanese prime ministers in 2005, he was a member of the Committee of the Commemoration of the 140th anniversary of Japanese-Hungarian relations in 2009.
He is also a guest professor of the Josai University, Chairman of the Hungarian Association of Japanese Tea Ceremony.
In April 2009 he received the second highest Japanese decoration, the Order of the Rising Sun Gold and Silver Star.
