Our founder Dr. Zoltán Sűdy had served 25 years in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. He became the Director General of the Asian/Pacific Department in 1990.
In 1992, he was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Thailand and concurrently to Brunei, Laos and Myanmar (1992-1995), and later to Japan as well (1995-1999).
In 1999, he chose to leave his career in diplomacy in order to set up his own business.

Zoltán was nominated as a member of the 5 men of the „Wisemen Group” by the Hungarian and Japanese prime ministers in 2005. He served as a member of the Committee of the Commemoration of the 140th anniversary of Japanese-Hungarian relations in 2009.

He is the Chairman of the Hungarian Association of Japanese Tea.

In April 2009, he received the second highest Japanese decoration that is given to foreigners, the "Gold and Silver Star of The Order of the Rising Sun".

Zoltán is currently taking on the role of chairman in our company. He is also serving as a member of the board of directors or as corporate auditor in several other companies.
