It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mrs. Erika Sűdy, founder and owner of Sudy & Co.
After a long and courageous battle with illness, Erika left us peacefully, surrounded by the love and respect of her beloved ones.
Over twenty years ago, Erika founded Sudy & Co. together with her husband, Zoltán Sűdy. While Zoltán led the company's business development activities and built many of the relationships that have defined our success, Erika was the driving force behind the organization's operation, management, and administration. Through her dedication, discipline, and tireless work, she created the foundations upon which our company was built and has continued to grow.
To us, however, Erika was much more than our founder.
She was the heart and soul of our company. She was our mentor, our inspiration, and often a motherly presence whose wisdom, care, and humanity guided us through both professional and personal challenges. She believed in people, gave opportunities generously, and always encouraged those around her to aim higher than they thought possible.
Even as her illness progressed, her spirit remained unbroken. Until the very last days, she continued to follow the life of the company closely, sharing ideas, offering guidance, and caring deeply about the future of the organization she had created. Her intellectual curiosity, creativity, and commitment never faded.
Erika's legacy cannot be measured only by business achievements. It lives on in the values we carry: kindness, courage, and respect for different cultures and perspectives. It lives on in the relationships she built, the opportunities she created, and the people she inspired.
Her absence leaves an immense void in our hearts and in the life of our company. Yet her vision, values, and spirit will remain with us every day as we continue the journey she began.
We are profoundly grateful for the years we shared with her, for her trust, friendship, and leadership.
We will miss her beyond words.
